Free Kraft Products ($40 worth) Request Again!
If you missed out on signing up for this before you can do it again NOW! I've figured it is going to result in a bit of free food. Thanks to Money Saving Mom for this tip.
Here's how:
The booklet is filled with $15 in coupons but there are also two offers to receive back $20 each on your Kraft Nabisco purchases. The first offer is dated 7/1/09 to 12/31/09 and the second from 1/1/10 to 6/30/10.
You must buy 10 Participating Nabisco Cookies or Crackers (4-28 oz), 5 Kraft Beverages, 5 Easy Mac Single Cups (2.05 or 4.1 oz).
Within the past few weeks Walgreens and CVS has had 4 oz cookies and crackers on sale for $1 each. Capri-Sun is regulary $2 each at Giant PA and Easy Mac cups are about $.78 at Walmart. This comes to about $25 all together. Throw in some coupons and you've got a great deal. So by using five of the $1/2 coupons in the booklet it brings the cost down to $20. There are 10 of these in the book.

Restaurant.com Gift Certificates Save More with Mr. Rebates or Ebates
Here is a step by step to maximize your savings or profit using 70% savings ($3/$25) and 30% rebate (on purchase of $3) example.
1. Join Mr. Rebates or Ebates (use whoever is giving a larger discount). You'll get a $5 rebate for joining, giving you a $2.60 profit on a $25 certificate. Everyone gets 30% back on their order. So a $25 gift certificate will be $2.40, $50 will be $4.80 and so on.
2. On the rebate site find Restaurant.com in the drop down menu under "Shop by Store". Click on one of the links shown to go to the Restaurant.com site. From here you can buy a $25 certificate-read step 3 but skip to step 4 unless you want to buy a $50 certificate or higher.

CVS has a Green Bag Tag you purchase for $.99. Each time you shop, bring your re-usable bag and have the tag scanned. After four trips you will earn $1 in ECBs.
November 1st Target will roll out it's re-usable shopping back discount of $.05 per bag.
This should keep billions of bags out of the landfills, if we could only remember to bring them with us! I think once we are in the habit it won't be a big deal.

Thanks to MNTK I will be able to receive a $10 rebate on the purchase of 10 participating Nabisco, Easy Cheese or Planters products. There is no specific list of products for this promotion. I really like this cause I buy Planters all the time.

From Proctor & Gamble the Home Made Simple mailer has lots of coupons for cleaning products (that's where I saw the Dawn Q, Jen) There is always a coupon for a free item too.
So now that you are saving your coupons from the paper, buying extra papers, collecting extra coupons from friends, pulling blinkies and tear pads and getting all those other great coupons mailed to you-you are going to need a coupon organizer or you'll lose you're mind!

Free Chocalate Friday Last Chance!
If you haven't already reached your 4 free candy bar limit from Mars Real Chocolate Relief Act. Today(Friday)is the day to get another. After 9am today and every Friday up to September go here to request a coupon for a free candy bar. While the limit is 4 per household, watch for BOGO sales like the one last week and this week at Rite-Aid and get two free with each coupon!!

A few days ago I was in line at a grocery store which I only go to when I just need a few items to get thru dinner that night (i know, this is not they way your supposed to do it, i'm far from perfect) and I can't bear the thought of dragging my butt into Giant or Walmart.
The lady in front of me was trying to use a coupon but was told that, because the items were on sale, the coupon could not be accepted.
This is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard of. If your grocery store refuses to take your coupons because the items are on sale, ask to see the manager, ask for their coupon policy and if you have to, refuse to shop there until they get their heads out of their you-know-whats.

Free 50ct Sun Crystals All Natural Sweetener
In the 9/20 Red Plum there is a coupon for $2 off any Sun Crystals All Natural Sweetener. These are priced at $1.99 with shopper's club card at Weis until 9/30. The coupon doesn't expire until 12/31 so if you don't get to Weis I'm sure it will be on sale somewhere else in the next three months. So cut it out and keep it with your other free coupons.

Print the $5/$25 Rite Aid coupon from the coupon bar at the top of this blog. Give it to the cashier first. Give $11 in other coupons next. Pay $9.42 out of pocket.

Here is a step by step to maximize your savings or profit?

Kmart Double Coupons=Lots of Free Stuff
This is what I got today at Kmart. The new rules are there is a limit of 10 coupons and your order must come to more than $25 in groceries. I didn't get nearly as much free stuff as I have in the past but going at 3pm, I didn't notice that all the free stuff was already gone so it wasn't as disappointing as I thought it would have been.

You may already know that CVS has Reese's on sale for $.50 and there was a coupon in this Sunday's paper Smart Source for $.55 off any Reese's candy product.
These are also on sale at Walmart for $.50. I prefer to try and use my coupon at CVS since I can pay with an ECB (Extra Care Buck) but it's good to know I can use it at Walmart if I don't make it back to CVS.
Watch for buy one get one sale on Reese's 1.25 oz and possibly get two free with the BOGO coupon.
I noticed a $1/2 Snickers, Twix, 2 Muskateers or Milky single bars coupon from 8/23 Red Plum. Maybe these will go on sale for $.50 each or BOGO for more free chocolate.

Their Baaack...Restaurant.com $25 Certificate for $1.50 or 1st time Cashbaq Shoppers Make $3.50 Profit!
Restaurant.com $25 gift certificates for $2 is back! I have purchased them in the past and they do work.
Here is a step by step to maximize your savings or profit?
1. Join Cashbaq. You'll get a $5 rebate for joining, giving you a $3.50 profit on a $25 certificate. Cashbaq is legit. Everyone gets 25% back on their order. So a $25 gift certificate will be $1.50, $50 will be $3 and so on.
2. On the Cashbaq site, in the left side bar, find Restaurant.com in the drop down menu under "Shop by Store". Click on one of the links shown to go to the Restaurant.com site. From here you can buy a $25 certificate-read step 3 but skip to step 4 unless you want to buy a $50 certificate or higher.
3. A word of advice is that if the restuarant you want to go to is a more expensive one then get a $50 or $75 certificate. I considered this but bought only one since it was my first time and I was skeptical. There was no way we could have kept our bill below $50 at the closest restuarant to us. Ok, they weren't all freebies, some were a penny each.

Bic Pens $1-$1 printable
Tape and photo paper (after easy rebate) were $1 each but after I use the $5/$20 coupon they were also free.
Hannah Montana book covers-$.50 on clearance! I paid $5 each last year for book covers (not HM) but we had to have them. Total is an overage of $.96!
